TERMS & CONDITIONS
These terms apply to every quotation, order and installation carried out by Buy Solars, whether arranged through buysolars.com, WhatsApp, phone or email. Accepting a quotation or paying an advance means you accept them.
Quotations and orders
A quotation is valid for the period printed on it, normally [7] days, because panel and inverter rates move with the dollar and with freight. After that we may need to requote. An order exists once you accept a quotation in writing and pay the agreed advance. We can decline or cancel an order if stock has sold out, if a published price was wrong, or if a site turns out to be unsuitable for the system quoted. Where we cancel and you have paid, you get a full refund of what you paid us.
Prices and payment
Prices are in Pakistani Rupees. Unless the quotation says otherwise, government fees, DISCO charges, net metering meter costs, taxes on the invoice, civil work and any extra wiring beyond the length stated are not included. Equipment supply usually needs advance payment before dispatch. Installation payments follow the schedule on your quotation, commonly an advance on order and the balance on commissioning.
Delivery
Delivery timelines are estimates in working days. Customs clearance, courier and transport delays, weather, strikes and road closures are outside our control. Check the equipment on arrival. Cracked glass, dented frames, damaged inverter casing or a wrong model must be reported to us the same day with photographs, since a transit damage claim cannot be filed later.
Installation
Your quotation states the scope of work. Anything not in it is extra, agreed in writing before we do it. You are responsible for giving our team safe roof access, water and power at the site, and for the roof being structurally able to carry the structure and panels. If your existing internal wiring, DB or earthing is unsafe and needs work before the system can be commissioned, we will tell you and quote it separately. Work stopped by rain, an inaccessible site or a delayed civil handover shifts the completion date.
Net metering
Where we take on your net metering application, our commitment is to prepare it correctly and pursue it with your distribution company. Approval, timelines and buyback rates are decided by the DISCO and NEPRA under their current rules. Government and utility charges are payable by you. Our net metering fee covers our work on the file and is not refundable on the basis of a decision made by the authority.
Warranty
Panels, inverters, batteries and structures carry the warranties of their manufacturers, for the periods stated at the time of sale. Our workmanship on an installation we carried out is covered for [12] months. Warranty does not cover physical damage, lightning or fire, water ingress caused by later work on the roof, theft, animal or rodent damage, incorrect operation, modification or repair by anyone else, or damage from an unstable grid supply where the recommended protection was not installed.
Returns and cancellation
Cancel before dispatch and before any custom fabrication has started and we refund what you paid, less any bank charges. Once panels or inverters have been dispatched, unopened equipment in original packaging may be returned within [3] days at your cost, subject to a restocking deduction. Installed, energised or custom fabricated items cannot be returned.
Our liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for loss of income, higher electricity bills, lost generation, or other indirect losses arising from equipment failure, a delay, or a net metering decision.
Website use
Text, system descriptions and images on buysolars.com belong to us or to the manufacturers whose products we sell. Do not copy them for a competing site, scrape the site in bulk, or use it unlawfully.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan and the courts at Karachi have jurisdiction over any dispute. We would far rather resolve a problem on WhatsApp first, so message 03192070022 and give us that chance.
